Glittering snow as far as the eye can see. Old fashioned attentive service. A cellar full of wine treasures and a time full of lavish festivals: In winter there is hardly a place that is as magically beautiful, alpine exclusive and Austrian warm-hearted as the castle.
Those who look forward to the ski season all year round can slide right out of the front door onto the slopes. Those who prefer to enjoy the winter sun can stretch out on the sun terrace with champagne, oysters and a fur blanket. And if you have little kids with you, you don't have to worry about them getting bored: the ski school is right across the street and a nanny is always in the house. For the fine palates of our guests, head chef Sebastian Daeche conjures up delicious dishes from the best ingredients - many of them from our in-house bakery. And Helga, as hostess a living legend of the castle, looks forward to opening up the fondue parlor for cheese connoisseurs.
Speaking of legends: Not only our New Year's Eve party is in a class of its own. We especially like to celebrate extensively in winter. Between pine cones and Christmas tree balls. With tie and sequins. And preferably with live music.
But of course there is also a place for guests with a calmer disposition. For example by the open fireplace in our wellness area. A crackling fire in the whirlpool and a fragrant stone pine sauna offer a pleasantly warm contrast to the freezing cold of snowy days.
