The health resort Todtmoos, with its thirteen districts, is located in the district of Waldshut, right in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. Todtmoos is synonymous with a nature-based stay, boasting scientifically recognized health-enhancing climatic properties.

The first recorded mention of the town dates back to the establishment of the first chapel in Todtmoos by Priest Dietrich von Rickenback in 1255. Highlights include the Baroque pilgrimage church, the show mine, and the "Heimethus" museum, housed in a 250-year-old Black Forest house.

The "local mountain" Hochkopf (1263 meters above sea level), which offers a view of the Alps on clear days, is popular with Nordic walkers, hikers, and mountain bikers. After a hike along the "Coffee/ Mulled Wine Trail" through the "Raven Gorge," to the waterfall in Hintertodtmoos, or along the picturesque Wehra river, you can cool off in the "Aqua Treff" outdoor pool during the summer.

La prima menzione documentata del paese risale alla costruzione della prima cappella a Todtmoos da parte del sacerdote Dietrich von Rickenback nel 1255. Attrazioni particolari includono la chiesa barocca di pellegrinaggio, la miniera didattica e il museo “Heimethus”, ospitato in una casa della Foresta Nera di 250 anni.

Dopo un'escursione lungo il "Sentiero del caffè/ vin brulé" attraverso la "Gola del Corvo", verso la cascata di Hintertodtmoos o lungo il pittoresco fiume Wehra, d'estate è possibile rinfrescarsi nella piscina all'aperto "Aqua Treff".
