The village also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine. At Grillenberg, the Schweighofer inn spoils guests with regional specialties, at the “Päuschen Häuschen” organic products are transformed into delicious dishes, and at the Seelhofer inn, not only good food but also cozy accommodation awaits. There are also cider taverns: the Mosterei Kirnbauer and the cider bar Kobermann “Schmoizgruam” invite you to linger and enjoy homemade delicacies.

Hikers will enjoy excursions to the two huts in the area. The Pottschacher-Hütte in Gasteil and the Waldburgangerhütte on the Gahns– both delight visitors with regional delicacies and magnificent views.
A very special place for art lovers is the Gut Gasteil. Here, Charlotte and Johannes Seidl regularly present changing exhibitions. On the extensive grounds, the exhibition “Art in the Landscape” invites visitors to experience nature and art in a unique symbiosis all year round.
