Immerse yourself in turquoise-blue water!
At the foot of the Mittagskogel is Lake Faak with its natural island and impressive view of the Karawanken mountain range. The limestone particles in the fresh mountain water reflect the light and give the lake its unforgettable turquoise blue colour.
There are several public beaches on Lake Faak: namley in Faak am See, in Drobollach and in Egg am Faaker See.

The bathing area offers a large sunbathing lawn, a water slide, a child-friendly pebble beach, children's play equipment, a newly built jetty area, table tennis and a restaurant. There is also an electric charging station.
Special highlights include the covered pump track and, of course, free entry - parking is subject to a charge. All the better to travel by bus or bike

The pool is extremely family-friendly and offers disabled and senior-friendly access. A lift for wheelchair users has also been installed. The pool has a large sunbathing lawn with shade.
This pool also has an electric charging station.
The Faaker See kayak centre is located right next to the pool.

There are many family hiking trails around the lake as well as cycling routes for all sports enthusiasts - the attractive lake.bike MTB routes and the newly opened outdoor pump track are particularly recommended. www.lake.bike
