The Knusperhütte is located at an altitude of 750 meters in the idyllic village of Schnepfau (near Mellau, Au/Schoppernau) in the Bregenzerwald.

The hut is wheelchair accessible, built with a lot of wood from its own forests, making it also ideal for people with disabilities.

The access to Knusperhütte is the only road for miles around. On-site, you'll find plenty of parking space and, above all, pure nature and tranquility. However, the village center of Schnepfau is easily reachable in 15 minutes by foot or 3 minutes by car.

With the ski resorts Mellau-Damüls and Diedamskopf (many opportunities for paragliding), you can reach the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald in just five minutes by car.

The Knusperhütte is frequently used by our guests for seminars, conferences, and training sessions. We do not offer a seminar room.
