Fascination holidays on the Moselle & Saar
The Celts and Romans planted their vines along the Moselle 2000 years ago. Over the past two millennia, viticulture has transformed a charming natural landscape into an impressive wine-growing landscape.
The 275-kilometre-long Mosel Cycle Route and the 365-kilometre-long Moselsteig Quality Hiking Trail run right through the middle of the world's largest steep-slope wine-growing region. In addition, the Moselle and Saar rivers with their many meanders are wonderful spots for canoeists and other water sports fans.
