It is an art to make art and culture understandable and tangible for everyone. In Bad Endorf, both are on offer, firstly for every taste and secondly for everyone to touch. The arts range from the famous Endorf religious folk play with over 225 years of history, to modern picture exhibitions, cinema and cabaret, the now nationally renowned ‘International Opera Festival in Chiemgau at Gut Immling “, expert cultural hikes to the numerous architectural treasures, art in the landscape (Chiemseeart) to the ”Hoagart’ as a traditional folk music evening. The nine branch churches around Bad Endorf are showpieces of Gothic, Baroque and Rococo architecture. The valuable frescoes are particularly worth seeing.

Customs have a firm place in the course of the year in the old Bavarian market town. All traditional festivals are small and large highlights for locals and guests alike.

Sport & Leisure
The most popular sport here is by far hiking in natural and moorland landscapes - on foot or by bike. The nearby and wider surroundings offer a well signposted and supervised network of hiking and cycling trails (Nordic walking) of around 180 kilometres (hiking map) and a connection to the Via Julia long-distance hiking trail from Salzburg to Augsburg.

The seven tennis courts and the 18-hole golf course in Höslwang are of course also open to our guests.
