Stazione sciistica Puerto de Navacerrada

The ski area Navacerrada lies on the border between the provinces of Madrid and Segovia with its wooded surroundings in the valley of Valsaín and Navalmedio, and can look back on a long skiing tradition.

The resort has two different areas:

Beginner area, with short and easy-protected pistes, perfect for beginners in skiing. The slopes are mostly protected from the weather in the beautiful forest of pines and the moderate downhill with a kilometer of length is among the most beautiful slopes in Spain. Some of the lifts and slopes in this area are in the province of Segovia. There is also a small, separate track for sledging.

Higher altitudes area, with more difficult, red slopes. The slopes are located on the east side of the pass and the roads are covered in this area with bushes such as broom and juniper. Some of the slopes and lifts in this area are in the province of Segovia.

The Guarramillas chairlift is open on weekends in the spring, summer and autumn, and so has a year-round tourism.
