Stazione sciistica Pralognan la Vanoise

Small resort town on a human scale, Champagny-en-Vanoise ski area offers a true to his image. In a majestic setting at the foot of the Grande Casse and the heart of the Vanoise National Park, you can ski close to nature, chamois and ibex.

The ski area extends from Pralognan 2,350 m to 1,400 m altitude. Because of the proximity of the Vanoise glaciers, the snow is of high quality. In addition, snowmaking is provided with more than 70 snow canons from 2,350 m to the station.

The resort offers a full range of slopes for skiers of all levels: For beginners: Mount Bochor and village tracks of Barioz and Poucet. For skiers: the forest trails and moguls. For skiers: corridors and powder in the valley of Pariettes.

THE NORDIC
Champagny la Vanoise is the fourth most important nordic site of Savoy. 27 km of trails are laid out in the forest and on the set of Pralognan. They are lined in their major part of winter footpaths accessible on snowshoes or on foot.

ICE RINK
It is in this magnificent sports hall activities took place the curling events of the Olympic Games in Albertville in 1992.

CURLING
The local curling rink hosted the curling events of the 1992 Olympic Games. It now offers a permanent curling (in France).
