(Area giochi Jardin des découvertes - 5 discese in Snowtubing e/o traversata tirolese: 7,50 €)

Piau, the 100% natural playground
With its 4 freeride areas and exceptional snow conditions thanks to its exposure and high altitude, Piau is the resort for freeriders. But it's also the resort for all those who dream of a mountain holiday in an unspoilt setting in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park on the Spanish border. A resort at the foot of the pistes, designed with families in mind, with entirely pedestrianised areas. A resort where you can indulge in two cultures, two gastronomies and plenty of activities. Beginners and experienced skiers, mountain dwellers and outdoor enthusiasts will all find something to suit them. From the Pic de Piau to the Vallée du Badet, its 104 hectares of slopes are protected from the wind and thaw, with guaranteed natural snow cover.
A UNIQUE PARADISE IN THE VERY HIGH MOUNTAINS
Ranked among the top three snowiest resorts in France, ahead of some of its more famous alpine counterparts, Piau-Engaly is also the highest resort in the French Pyrenees. Its imposing setting stretches from the heart of the resort at 1850m to the Pic de Piau at 2600m. Thanks to its north-facing slope and the installation of large snow barriers, the resort enjoys natural snow cover right through to spring, limiting the need to use snow guns.
In this mineral environment, with its excellent natural snow cover
freeride enthusiasts have found their paradise. The same goes for skiers, who in the midst of these natural and precious jewels have fun and hike through the isards.
The rest of the time, it's all about walking, as the resort is located at the foot of the slopes, like few others in the Pyrenees, so you can do everything on foot, without having to take the car.
Piau-Pineta, cross-country skiing in an exceptional setting
Just 45 minutes from the Alpine resort of Piau, in the Ordesa and Mont Perdu National Park, the Piau-Pineta Nordic area is a protected area with no ski lifts or buildings. Here, nature reigns supreme. Cross-country skiers and snowshoe trekkers can enjoy 4 circuits for all levels, totalling 24 km of fully marked trails.
