MARIBORSKO POHORJE SKI RESORT WITH AREH

Mariborsko Pohorje, together with Areh, is considered the largest winter resort in Slovenia, encompassing approximately 35 kilometers of various ski slopes and offering 13 ski lifts and 3 conveyor belts.

With a wide range of easy, intermediate, and advanced slopes, Pohorje is suitable for all skiers and has especially earned a reputation as a popular family-friendly ski resort. In favorable snow conditions, Mariborsko Pohorje and Areh are connected by ski slopes, and a ski bus service is also available between them.

In addition to daytime and nighttime skiing, Areh offers visitors cross-country skiing with approximately 6 kilometers of groomed trails, sledding, tobogganing, and other winter delights.

At Mariborsko Pohorje, the ski slopes practically extend into the city, as you can ski all the way down to the valley along Čopova slope and the Snow Stadium when there is sufficient snow. Čopova slope is considered one of the most popular runs among recreational skiers.

Night Skiing
During winter, Mariborsko Pohorje boasts approximately seven kilometers of illuminated ski slopes, earning it a reputation as the resort with the longest night skiing trails well beyond Slovenia’s borders. Night skiing runs from the upper station of the circular cabin cable car down to the valley via Čopova slope and the Snow Stadium.
