The location of the hotel
DAS EDELWEISS is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the beautiful Großarl Valley. And Großarl in turn is about 70 km south of the city of Salzburg. Surrounded by 40 alpine pastures and countless kilometres of fantastic hiking trails. The Hotel Edelweiss is also located directly at the gondola valley station with direct access to numerous hiking trails and mountain bike routes.

St. Johann in the Pongau - Grossarl Valley

By train:
St. Johann i. Pongau or Bischofshofen or Schwarzach i. Pongau railway station.
We will pick you up directly from the station

By plane:
Salzburg Airport is only 70 kilometres away from Hotel EDELWEISS. We are happy to pick you up from there (up to 4 people).
