Connected to Dorfgastein, the Grossarl Valley offers a wonderful experience for skiers and beginners alike. For all snowboarders, there are fun parks with music equipment. The cross-country skiers have about 30 km of cross-country ski runs in classic and skating style. The Grossarl Valley is also a mecca for all touring enthusiasts. Beside the marked and groomed slopes there are still a lot of unprepared deep snow and snow covered slopes.

The Hotel Johanneshof in Großarl is located in a wonderful quiet, yet central location in the district "Unterberg Nord" directly at the ski slope.
Small but fine "exclusive holiday", on the highest 4 **** level with a wonderful bathing area.
