The mountain resorts of Champéry, Morgins, Val-d'Illiez-Les Crosets-Champoussin and Torgon belong to the international Portes du Soleil region. The Portes du Soleil is the largest linked international ski area in the world and offers: 2 countries, 14 holiday resorts, 650 km of ski runs for every level of difficulty, 204 ski lifts, 7 snowparks, 3 halfpipe, 4 boarder cross, 4 snow cross, hundreds of kilometres for freeride and 1 ski pass. It is hard to present this amazing ski area in just a few words. As a magnificent ensemble, the Portes du Soleil is unique in bringing together 14 French and Swiss ski resorts, where the love of skiing has endured for over generations, thanks to a close friendship between the two countries and to an innate sense of generous welcoming. Individually, these French-Swiss resorts each represent interesting destinations with various attractions, thus every village has carefully conserved its own identity and thus has the advantage of being able to offer its own unique activities. Winter sport has here a long tradition and can be exercised under every shape. Here, you cross the French-Swiss border on skis, Snowboard, with snowshoes, or by paraglide. The French-Swiss domain offers a wide variety of ski runs with different levels, each more breathtaking than the previous, which makes this a convivial destination well appreciated by families.
